Jim2 Integration

Overview

Jim2 has their own native integration with MachShip that is fully featured and implemented by the Jim2 team.

Here is how the integration with MachShip works:

An order is created in Jim2
User selects "Ship Via" as Machship
Items are added to the Shipment
- Can be automated if weight and dimensions are added to stock items
User selects "Create Shipment" and carrier options are displayed with prices
User selects preferred carrier and labels print automatically
Jim2 collects and stores information about the consignment:
- Carrier Consignment ID
- Tracking Link
- Carrier Name
- Carrier Service Name
- Freight Cost
When ready, the warehouse manifests all consignments in MachShip

This integration is "touchless", with users rarely needing to log into MachShip (typically only for end-of-day manifest)
MachShip does not complete this integration - it is a feature of the Jim2 platform
Minimum Jim2 version 4.4 or above is required
