Microsoft Dynamics F&O Integration

Overview

We have successfully implemented multiple Microsoft Dynamics F&O integrations using various integration methods which are outlined in this article.

Each F&O integration requires custom work and collaboration between your team (or F&O consultant) and our integration specialists.

Integration Types

We offer two main types of integration workflows with F&O:

  1. Pending Workflow

    • For systems not collecting package dimensions
    • More flexible implementation
    • Allows carrier selection in MachShip
  2. Unmanifested Workflow

    • For systems with package dimensions
    • More automated process
    • Direct label printing

Integration Process

Pending Workflow

  1. Order created in F&O
  2. We create a pending consignment in MachShip with:
    • Warehouse and customer details
    • F&O reference numbers
  3. Warehouse team:
    • Searches consignment using order number
    • Adds package details
    • Selects carrier
  4. Labels print
  5. Shipping details update back to F&O

Unmanifested Workflow

  1. Order created and packed in F&O
    • Includes weights and dimensions
  2. Data sent to MachShip
  3. Consignment created automatically
  4. Labels print directly
  5. Shipping details update back to F&O
