Overview
We offer the following type of integration with MaroPost (formerly Neto):
- Order Syncing - the automated pushing of orders/shipments from MaroPost into MachShip.
Note: We do not currently offer:
- Live Pricing - MaroPost does not currently allow third parties to build their own live pricing integrations
- Label Generation - we are not integrated into the MaroPost Pick/Pack and label generation interface
Order Syncing Integration
Order Syncing Workflow
- Order is created in MaroPost via the checkout or by an admin
- We check MaroPost for orders in the status of "New" or "Pick" every 5 minutes
- Can exclude orders with certain shipping methods (e.g., "pick up")
- Status filters can be customized to match your workflow
- We create a pending consignment in MachShip with:
- Warehouse and customer details
- MaroPost order number as reference
- Optional product details:
- SKUs as line items
- Product dimensions if stored in MachShip
- Order is picked and packed by warehouse
- Warehouse opens MachShip and searches for the order using MaroPost order number
- Warehouse team adds packages onto the consignment
- Pickers/Packers select a carrier service, or simply use cheapest
- Once consignment manifested, we update MaroPost with:
- Tracking Link
- Order marked as Despatched on Manifest
Order Syncing FAQs
Q: How are packages and dimensions handled?
A: You have two options:
- Warehouse team manually inputs packages (most common)
- Pre-fill using product SKUs and dimensions stored in MachShip
Q: Can you customize the order filters?
A: Yes, we can customize which orders sync based on status and shipping method. For example, we can exclude pickup orders or only sync orders with specific shipping methods.
Q: How quickly are orders synced?
A: We check for new orders every 5 minutes, and shipping updates are written back to MaroPost every 5 minutes.

- Sync timing:
- Orders sync from MaroPost to MachShip every 5 minutes
- Shipping updates sync back to MaroPost every 5 minutes
- The integration requires temporary admin access to:
- Set up appropriate shipping methods
- Configure API keys
- Note: These shipping methods will not be visible to your customers
- Live pricing is not available as MaroPost does not currently allow third-party carrier integrations

Q: Can we do live quoting inside MaroPost?
A: No, MaroPost does not currently allow third parties to build their own live pricing integrations. All quoting must be done within MachShip.
Q: Can we use MaroPost's Pick/Pack interface?
A: No, we are not integrated into MaroPost's Pick/Pack and label generation interface. All label generation occurs inside MachShip.
Q: Can the integration be customized for our specific needs?
A: Yes, we have extensive customization capabilities including status filters, shipping method filters, and field mappings. Contact our integrations team with your requirements.
Integration Setup Process
All integrations are completed by our in-house integrations team that specializes in setting up integrations with MaroPost.
The process for getting your integration setup is:
- Scoping - Reach out to our integrations team at clientintegrations@machship.com - note, if you're using MachShip via a broker, please include the account manager in CC.
Our specialist integrations team will work with you to confirm the scope of your integration and ensure it will perform how you expect.

Approval - From there, you will be provided with a quote for any associated integration implementation costs for approval.

Implementation - Once approved, implementation will begin. We will need:
- Temporary admin access to your MaroPost store
- Details on your preferred workflow and any customizations

Handover & Testing - Once completed, we will let you know and you can conduct your own testing to confirm everything is working as expected.
Setup FAQs
Q: How long does it take to setup my integration?
MaroPost integrations typically take around 24 hours to complete.
Q: Am I able to setup the integration myself?
We do not currently offer self-setup for our integrations due to the amount of customisation and testing required when linking your integration to your MachShip account.
Q: My requirements differ from what you've laid out, can you customise the integration?
We do have the ability to customise our integrations for each client to a large degree.
