Carton Cloud Integration


Overview

CartonCloud offers a native integration with MachShip that enables seamless freight management between both platforms. This integration allows for automated consignment creation and tracking synchronization.

Integration Features

The integration provides several key capabilities:

  • Consignment Creation

    • Create MachShip consignments from CartonCloud Sale Orders
    • Create MachShip consignments from CartonCloud Consignments
    • Transfer delivery addresses and item weights
    • Transfer dimensions and other relevant information (when created from CartonCloud Consignments)
  • Tracking Integration

    • Two-way tracking information sync between platforms
    • Courier tracking numbers automatically pulled from MachShip to CartonCloud
    • Tracking details can be forwarded to other integrated platforms (e.g., Shopify)
  • Label Printing

    • Print MachShip labels directly within CartonCloud
    • Automatic printing based on order/consignment status events
    • Manual printing via Custom Buttons
    • Eliminates need to switch between applications during packing

Integration Workflow

  1. Sale Order or Consignment is created in CartonCloud
  2. Information is automatically transferred to MachShip:
    • From Sale Orders: Delivery address and item weights
    • From Consignments: Additional details including dimensions
  3. MachShip creates the consignment and generates tracking information
  4. Tracking details sync back to CartonCloud
  5. Labels can be printed directly from CartonCloud based on configured triggers

Important Info

  • Integration works with both Sale Orders and Consignments in CartonCloud
  • Product codes must match between CartonCloud and MachShip
  • Label printing can be automated based on status events
  • Tracking information flows automatically between systems
  • Integration supports forwarding tracking details to other connected platforms

Setup Requirements

Before starting the integration setup:

  1. Active CartonCloud account with:
    • Products properly configured
    • Product codes matching MachShip setup
  2. Active MachShip account
  3. Integration request submitted through CartonCloud Help
