Getting Started

Welcome to the MachShip integration guide. This document will help you understand the steps to build your integration with MachShip, whether you're building your own integration or looking to use one of our supported integrations.

We offer the following integration methods and types:

1. MachShip API: Build your own integration using our comprehensive API. This method allows you to create, quote, and manage consignments programmatically.

2. Flat File Upload (Manual & Automated): Build your own integration by using our printing application to process flat files (CSV, XML) from a designated folder on your computer - or, alternatively, manuall upload them to the MachShip interface.

3. Supported Integrations: Utilize our pre-built and supported integrations with various ERP and eCommerce platforms. We manage the setup and configuration for you.

4. Custom Integration: We build a custom integration tailored to your platform, using your APIs or flat files to accommodate your specific workflows.

Building Your Own Integration

If you're building your own integration with MachShip, using either our API or Flat File methods, follow these steps:

1. Read the Fundamentals: Start by familiarizing yourself with the key concepts of MachShip. This includes understanding organizations, companies, carriers, consignments, and other essential terms.
